Synopsis

Norman and Donna Strongwell celebrate their son's apparent straightness. Maria and Rudy note that the celebration makes their parents seem gay.

Author Notes

Introducing the Strongwell parents as you’ve never seen them before: smiling. And yet, it just puts a pit in one’s stomach to see Mr. and Mrs. Strongwell looking like that while saying the things they’re saying.

I want to point out (because I don’t think I addressed it clearly enough) that Maria IS hungover too. As Gavin said on the last page, she started after seeing her brother kiss her crush. So, yeah. She’s still probably pretty mad, just too unwell to DO anything about it. Regardless of the situation though, they are quite close as far as siblings go, and will make snarky comments at their parents’ expense if they can…

…and the parents don’t hear… ^_^

Please don't hug me, dad. You'll just make me throw up again...
But we're so happy! How can we not want to hug you?
Our son is finally cured of his disease!
This is the happiest day of our lives!!!
This is the happiest day of our lives!!!
