Rain:496: "Girl Riddle"

(Redirected from 496:"Girl Riddle")

Synopsis

Gavin asks Maria and Emily explain why Ana is not ready to date.

Author Notes

Hey, look! Gavin's overthinking things again! XD

Speaking as a bit of an overthinker myself, I can relate to Gavin here. The best thing that boy could do for himself is just NOT dwell on the things Ana said... but when you have a tendencey to stress out over dumb, irrelevant things (like this) as is, not dwelling is easier said than done.

As for "girl riddles", I don't think that's a thing. We're just looking at a guy who fails to comprehend women's behavior (in that it might seem like a riddle to him). XD Try not to think too hard about it.

Lunchtime:

Sigh. Women. I swear, try as I might, I just don't get how they think.

Emily, Chanel, and Maria are all looking at Gavin

I'm guessing it didn't go so well with Ana?
It really didn't go badly per se, but...
If a girl says "not yet", does she mean exactly what she says or is it one of those weird "girl riddles?"
You really DON'T get women. How cute.
It really means "not yet". Maybe her last relationship ended badly. Or her parents don't want her dating.
How about "not yet, but I have a date planned when it'll be okay?"
Uh... that I don't know. Unless that date is the "twelfth of never" - I've used that one - or her parents won't let her date until she's eighteen.
She's already eighteen.
Oh? Hmm... I'm not really sure what that would mean. Must be a "girl riddle."
