Kylie/Ky is a genderfluid individual and the younger sibling of Heather Coven. Ky passes so well as male that even Fara was surprised when she found out they were assigned female at birth.[6] Ky, despite being transgender, isn't fully familiar with the terminology themselves. They are also "kinda ADD" about their crushes, secretly crushing on everyone new they meet, until they meet someone else.[7]

Sexuality

Ky identifies as bisexual,[8] but says they crush on nearly everybody but then gets over it quickly.[7] Jocelyn stated that Ky is poly.[2]

Genderfluidity

Ky is genderfluid, meaning their gender changes depending on the day. Most days they are male[9][10] but occasionally they will be female, both, or neither.[11] Prior to being informed of the term genderfluid, they were occasionally depicted with the genderqueer flag.[12]

When Ky is in “girl mode”, she tends to dress more feminine, with lighter tones and skirts. When in “boy mode”, he usually wears a hoodie with his binder. When feeling more androgynous, they tend to dress that way, usually with their hood up and oftentimes without binding. They usually go by the name "Kylie" when in girl mode, and "Ky" otherwise,[13] though they accept "Ky" when in girl mode.[14][15][16][17][18][19][20]

History

When Rain first met Ky, he was in boy mode. It wasn't until Christmas that Rain learned Ky was assigned female at birth. Since then, Ky has enjoyed hanging with the group, without needing to explain their gender fluidity in depth — with a few exceptions for character exposition.

Trivia

  • Ky prefers sitting on the floor rather than a sofa.[21]
