MIS:28: Amnesia
Synopsis
Nagisa hits Chiaki with some relatively recent local history, to try to gauge the extent of Chiaki's so-called "amnesia". Then Chiaki breaks, and begins to tell Nagisa that she's an Unbound.

Dropping a lot of proper nouns here, but don't worry about not having context for them right now. You've heard a few of these words on earlier pages too, but like Chiaki, you wouldn't have any reason to know most of these yet. It's okay. It's just Chapter 1, after all. XD
Anyway, so much for the original "amnesia plan". I wonder what Nagisa will think of this...

Most people wouldn’t know I’m the baby that was saved that day. But the plight of the black winged skyfolk and the heroism of Princess Kaminari are as well known as it gets.
I mean, she saved the world just a decade ago! She’s a hero and considered an honorary Lilim!
The fall of Toria? The obliteration of North Rose? The Great Demon Lord, Eligos? None of this rings a bell?
Chiaki is thinking to herself:
If anyone asks why you don’t know basic things, just say it’s amnesia. I think that’s going to be easier for folks to accept than “you came from another world.”I don’t know. Nara-san said to just pretend it’s amnesia, but I’m not really good at pretending.And while I don’t have a good read on Nagisa-san’s personality yet, I feel like she’s too smart to be fooled by my inability to lie anyway...
