Anyway, Belial can be loud and outspoken and vulgar, but she's not a bad kid at all. She's just working through some stuff (and aren't we all!). You may still have questions about what all this means here, but don't worry, we'll explore more on this soon.

Unrelated to the story, I want to give a small heads up that I'm going to be skipping Friday's post. The next page will be up on Monday, April 10th. Stress, bad sleep, and a minor arm injury left me not drawing for a little while. I'm back on my feet now, but the extra day will help me catch up. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I think this will be for the better in the long run. I appreciate your understanding.

Nara Kendry:

Hello, girls! I hope you don’t mind me leaving these two to learn the ins and outs of Storage with you.

Belial:

Whatever. It’s fine.

Nara Kendry:

And Belial-

Belial:

I said it’s fine!

Belial:

I know I’m the only demon in class, and everyone else still has access to their alignment, and that it’s important for Chiaki to learn about magic!

Belial:

I know! I get it! You have to cover this stuff!

Belial:

But that doesn’t stop me from feeling singled out. I hate that it still gets to me, but it does.

Nara Kendry:

Belial...

Belial:

I’m sorry if I was out of line.

Nara Kendry:

You’re not out of line. If anything, I was.

Nara Kendry:

I only thought of it as a learning opportunity for Chiaki. I should’ve considered your feelings and spoken to you ahead of time.

Nara Kendry:

That’s on me, and for that, I’m sorry.

Belial:

Is it still okay if I come talk to you in private later, Nara?

Nara Kendry:

My door is always open.
