A Bland-Name Product is a reference to a real-world brand name in a fictional setting, often created to avoid trademark infringement or for a comedic gag.[1] [2]

Trivia
Originally, Lynn used the name "Transmorphers" for the Transformers franchise , but she changed it to Transchangers after she learned that the name Transmorphers had already been taken.[4]
In Just a Picture , when Clamour is shown, various emojis seen there resemble actual emojis exclusive to the Official Rainverse Discord Server .[5] [6]
There exists a Fighter Frogs crossover game with Twin Hydras in the Rainverse,[7] analogous to the real world's Battletoads & Double Dragon – The Ultimate Team game.
"Save the Prince ", "Snow ", and "Sunlight Drifters " are parodies of Rainverse stories, those being Save the Princess , Rain , and Moonlight Wanderers , respectively.
Frankenstein , named directly on Rain: 135: Ruby and Rain: 140: Entry , is likely the only real-life title not created by Lynn that appears unchanged in any Rainverse comic. According to Lynn, she included this reference before she became committed to the bit, and she is OK with keeping it since the work is in the public domain and changing it could risk losing the joke.[8]
