It looks like we've got ourselves a "New Year, New You" situation. Of course, it's only the new year in real life and not the comic. Plus, I in no way actually planned for this page to line up with this exact date; it just kinda happened. But I'll take it. ^_^

But why this? Why now? If I'm being honest, I've been wanting to change up Chanel's design a little for a while now. Make her stand out a bit more. Her previous look resembled other characters, and this is way more individual. In story though, there's probably a bit more to it. Your thoughts on Chanel's motives are very welcome here.

And of course, your thoughts on how she looks are welcome too. ^_^

It really suits you, Chanel!

Chanel said she wanted to try something new. And she asked me to with her to the mall hair stylist so she wouldn't chicken out.
Emily Rose Bryer:
But it turned out I wasn't even necessary. She just marched right in on her own. I'm really proud of her.
Liriel Rain Bryer:
And it looks great on her. But what exactly made her suddenly want to do this? It seems so out of nowhere.
Emily Rose Bryer:
She didn't elaborate. She said she just wanted to.
Emily Rose Bryer:
Maybe it's for prom. Maybe it's a whim. It could be for Maria. Or maybe it's just for herself.
Emily Rose Bryer:
Whatever the reason, she seems much happier than I've seen her in months.
