Kylie and Rain meet for the first time! Go figure that neither one can read the other…

I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that Kylie does not speak in italics. By the laws of this comic, that does indeed mean that he is using his natural voice. Though it’s difficult to convey in comic form, I envision Kylie having a relatively androgynous voice - something that would sound more or less acceptable regardless of what gender he was presenting himself as. I know; kinda convenient, right?

The candid photo of Fara and Heather is intentionally blurry and pixely, by the way. That’s about as good as any picture I’ve taken with my phone has ever looked, so it feels right to me. I’m sure some phones have really good cameras that take crystal clear pictures nowadays, but I’m opting to leave it looking like that on the grounds that I’d rather it be discernibly different from the non-photo images.

And yes, there is a non blurry version, but no, don’t ask for it. :P
