I think it's worth pointing out that despite everything, this is still a hard moment for Drew. This is still going against however many years of conditioning for him. He still probably doesn't get everything (maybe even most things) Ky is dealing with. And through his whole arc thus far, he's still never gotten any past the questioning stage (that's right, I haven't mentioned it much recently, but his orientation is still up in the air).

In other words, the kid's still got a lot of figuring out to do (I mean, we don't usually have it all figured out before high school is over, after all). But going forward, maybe he's in a better position to work on that now. ^_^
