Synopsis

Ana confirms that she and Gavin are dating, and Maria congratulates her. Trevor runs over and introduces himself to Maria.

In case you forgot from waaaay in the beginning of the story, Gavin was "dating" a still closeted Maria so she wouldn't have to come out to anyone. They "broke up" in Chapter 9, so it hasn't necessarily been a relevant or important point in a long time. But it'll always just be a thing they did, and they'll probably keep bringing it up to laugh at themselves.

Speaking of way in the beginning, Gavin's dad (Trevor) makes his first appearance in almost a thousand pages today (barring a few short cameos in bonus chapters). He still won't have a huge part here, but he'll be more present in the story than he's ever been.
