So wait, is that actually how it went down for Kellen and Heather or not? Eh, probably not. But it sounds like they've been keeping things between mostly just themselves (for a long time!). Outside of Aiken "catching them being cute" - and now Rain being told - I wonder how many people actually know about this yet. Maybe Kellen will actually divulge what really happened herself... if she ever stops being so bashful about it. XD
And then Rain's finally addressing the elephant in the room on the second page here (without specifically addressing it). It's been six years, and she has intentionally kept her hair short by her own will. And yet, Rain still has some feelings regarding what happened between them back then; I think that's natural. A betrayal of trust absolutely occurred, and Rain has every right (and intention, it seems) of making sure her sister doesn't forget it.
But that doesn't change the fact Rain wants to move past it, and that she is genuinely excited for Kellen. This is sweet news, after all! It turns out we're allowed to have more than one feeling about people and things. We can be excited and critical at the same time!
Then there's Rain's ring, which people have been noticing asking about since the chapter began...
...Aaaanyway, I hope you liked the pages, and I'll see you next week. XD
