Yeah, I know. I’m a big jerk. This TOTALLY could’ve been a two-page update, so that it could be clearly established how Rain is presenting. But I decided, “nah, the suspense will be fun.” Best of all, there’s a lot of little hints in the last few panels that can point to it going either direction. I’d love to hear your predictions.

I will tell you though that this was meant to be a twofer. Meaning, you WILL learn the truth next time.

Fara Bryer:

You know, I tried out eHEARTyou after I saw your commerical. I'm seeing someone now.

Aiken Flaherty:

Oh yeah? Cool.

Fara Bryer:

So, I'd rather you didn't tell me things have gone sour between you and Janey!

Aiken Flaherty:

Jessica, actually.

Aiken Flaherty:

Well, it's not that things went sour. More like new things came up, and it was a little more intense than I expected, and I wasn't prepared for it. I needed to get out of there for a little while.

Fara Bryer:

Why do all of Liriel's kids hate giving straight answers?

Fara Bryer:

You're living with her, right?

Fara Bryer:

And you announced your engagement on daytime TV, all after going out for only a few months......

Fara Bryer:

...and something came up that was "too intense" for you?

Fara Bryer:
