Emily sees another call from Chase and decides to silence future calls from him.

XD You know something's going to happen with that eventually, but there is SO MUCH to cover in this chapter, that Chase and Emily just can't talk yet. Emily puts her phone down
Might as well keep it silent if you're not expecting anything important. You're not gonna hear it go off in the covention center anyway.
I don't know what you want, Chase, but this weekend is for Rain. I'm not going to abandon her to talk to you of all people.
