Welcome back, Rain Beaus! ^_^
If I'm being perfectly honest, I was having some reservations about bringing this back today. I knew this was the latest date I promised, but things have been hectic for me for a little while. Still, that said, I do want to get back to posting. I want to make some progress that I can actually show people again. And I have already pushed things back.
Seriously though; please don't worry about me. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't think I could. ^_^
The compromise is that for a little while, I'll be only posting two days a week: every Wednesday and Friday. That means no Monday posts going forward for a while. And yes, I know it's Monday today. I decided to have the cover page up today because people hate cover pages "wasting valuable comic days", so now this won't get in the way of the two-a-week schedule. Plus, now it's not technically late, as today is the promised return day. ;P
The two-a-week schedule also may not last the whole chapter. If I can feel properly caught up where I want to be, I'll get back the usual schedule. For the time being though, I think it's going to help me not drag out the hiatus any longer than necessary and also help me not need to take another one any time soon. Thank you for understanding.

Anyway, getting on topic here: Rain gets to be on a chapter cover for the first time this year (the downside of long chapters followed by long hiatuses). And she's rocking a new outfit, and a new look with her slowly ever-growing hair. No, this isn't her prom look, but we are getting so close! Might even see a couple dresses in this chapter. ;)
There's also some very, very mild tweaks artistically going forward. I mean, most people probably won't even notice, but I'm hoping it looks a little nicer. You may also see the page is a little bigger. I'm experimenting with some larger dimensions so those little tweaks don't get totally lost. Again, this is all minor (and not even really apparent on this page, in particular), but I am trying some new things.
Not much else to say, actually. Just, thank you. For always putting up with me. I know it's probably a real pain to wait for me like this all the time, but you have no idea how much I appreciate it. I'm doing my best with this comic and with other projects and with life, and sometimes it feels like I'm still never good enough. But I will continue to do my best - as long as I'm not breaking myself or burning out, I can and will continue to keep this going.
